Mission Statement
Our MISSION STATEMENT:
Nature Park Sparbach develops and conserves the diverse cultural landscape created in the Biedermeier period with and for the people. We conserve the living biodiversity of the region, implement trend-setting measures to increase biodiversity and see ourselves as pioneers in implementing the 4-pillar philosophy (conservation, recreation, education and regional development) for Nature Parks in Austria.
What We Stand For:
Nature Park Sparbach sees itself as a competent and fair partner for all questions of nature conservation in the nature park itself and in the region. We see projects for the long-term protection of endangered species, the conservation of diversity and beauty through the sustainable use of this valuable Vienna Woods landscape as core tasks of the pillar nature conservation.
We would like to bring Nature Park Sparbach closer to visitors as a place to find well-being and enjoy recreation in an attractive landscape in harmony with nature. The diverse infrastructure of Nature Park Sparbach is a place to slow down and enjoy the peacefulness of nature while at the same time experiencing the excitement and action for both younger and older guests.
Our educational programs are characterized by a passion for nature and are innovative and geared towards the respective target groups. Finding interactive and exciting ways of experiencing and understanding nature is close to our hearts. That is why we offer attractive educational programs to bring visitors closer to nature and culture and make their interrelationships tangible in a practical manner. We place a major emphasis on education for effective and authentic development.
As an attractive partner in the Vienna Woods, we provide impulses for the region, promote regional cooperation and contribute to the long-term increase in the quality of life and added value in the Nature Park region.
Our partnerships are characterized by mindful, appreciative communication at eye level, reliability, transparency and an active exchange of experiences to make full use of synergies
